Terms of Service
Last updated September 11, 2026
These Gold Law terms of service govern goldlawcorp.com, the website of Gold Law, A Professional Corporation. Please read them carefully before you use this Website. When you access or use goldlawcorp.com, you agree to follow these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Website.
1. Use of This Website
This Website gives you general information about Gold Law, the attorneys who practice here, and the estate planning, trust, conservatorship, and guardianship services the firm offers in Camarillo and the surrounding counties. Everything you read here serves an informational purpose only.
You may read, print, and share this website’s content for your own personal use. You may not use the Website to market a competing service, to collect information about our clients or staff, or to republish our content as your own.
2. No Legal Advice and No Attorney Client Relationship
Nothing on this Website is legal advice about your situation. California estate and trust law turns on specific facts, and a page written for a general audience cannot account for yours. Reading this Website does not make you a client of Gold Law, and it does not create an attorney client relationship. An attorney client relationship, meaning the formal working relationship that obligates a lawyer to represent you, begins only after we agree to take your matter and you sign a written fee agreement with the firm.
Do not delay speaking with a qualified attorney because of something you read here, and do not act on general information alone. If you want advice about your own trust, will, or conservatorship question, call Gold Law at (805) 388-8800 and we will tell you whether we can help.
3. Information You Send Through This Website
Please do not send confidential details about your legal matter through a contact form or an unencrypted email before the firm agrees to represent you. Information you send us before we open a matter may not be protected by the attorney client privilege, which is the rule that keeps communications between a lawyer and a client private.
Send us your name, your contact information, and a short description of the general topic you want to discuss. We will respond and let you know the right way to share the rest. Gold Law also cannot represent you if the firm already represents someone on the other side of your matter, so we check for that conflict before we take any confidential information from you.
4. Intellectual Property
Gold Law or its licensors own the content on this Website, including the text, graphics, photographs, the Gold Law name, and the Gold Law logo. United States copyright and trademark law protects that content.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or build derivative works from this content without written permission from the firm. If you want to quote a page or link to it in your own work, write to us at info@goldlawcorp.com and ask.
5. Acceptable Use and User Conduct
You agree to use this Website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to interfere with how the Website runs, not to attempt to reach areas of the site or its servers that are not open to the public, and not to introduce any code that could damage the Website or another visitor.
You also agree not to submit false information through our forms, not to use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages, and not to scrape the site with automated tools. Gold Law may block access to the Website when a visitor breaks these rules.
6. Appointment Scheduling and Third Party Tools
This Website offers a scheduling button that lets you book a time with the firm. That button hands you off to a third party scheduling service, and the information you enter there is handled under that company’s own terms and privacy practices rather than ours.
Booking a time through that tool does not make you a client and does not commit the firm to your matter. It reserves a conversation. Our office answers calls Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Friday from 9am to 1pm, so expect a response during those hours.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Gold Law provides this Website on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We work to keep the Website accurate, but California statutes, court rules, filing thresholds, and tax figures change, and a page can fall out of date between updates.
We do not warrant that the Website will run without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that any file you download from it will be free of harmful code. Verify anything time sensitive with the firm or with the original source before you rely on it.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent California law allows, Gold Law and its attorneys, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that arise from your use of this Website or from your inability to use it. This includes any loss you claim from relying on the general information published here.
Some jurisdictions do not allow a business to exclude certain warranties or limit certain damages. Where that is the case, these limits apply to you only as far as the law permits, and the rest of these Terms stay in force.
9. Links to Third Party Websites
This Website links to outside resources such as the California Courts self help center, the Ventura County Superior Court, and state and federal agencies. We include those links to help you reach a primary source.
Gold Law does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or how they handle your information. A link is not an endorsement, and visiting an outside site takes you outside these Terms.
10. Changes to the Gold Law Terms of Service
Gold Law may update these Terms as the firm’s services, this Website, or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of these terms.
Your continued use of the Website after we post a change means you accept the updated Terms. Check these terms from time to time so you know which version applies.
11. Governing Law and Where Disputes Are Heard
The laws of the State of California govern these Terms, without regard to conflict of law principles. Gold Law practices in Camarillo, and the firm’s office sits in Ventura County.
You agree that any dispute about this Website or these Terms belongs in the state or federal courts serving Ventura County, California, and you consent to those courts hearing it. If a court finds one part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect.
12. How to Reach Gold Law About These Terms
If you have a question about these Terms of Service, the firm is glad to answer it. Gold Law is located at 484 Mobil Avenue, Suite 26, Camarillo, CA 93010, and you can call the office at (805) 388-8800 or email info@goldlawcorp.com.
You can also send a message through our contact page and someone from the office will get back to you. Please keep the details of your legal matter out of that first message, as section 3 explains.
